A large West Country Aerospace Manufacturer has been a customer of Scan Film or Store Ltd since our business was established.
The ongoing requirement is to manage:
- large volumes of archive files
- build records
- data sheets
- procurement documentation
- personnel records
and all types of documentation used by this very large organisation. The task involves removal from the site, collating, repairing and destapling before transferring to a mixture of microfilm, microfiche, and digital scanning.
These Company sensitive records are processed by experienced and vetted staff at Scan Film or Store Ltd who are signatories to the Official Secrets Act. Records are either securely destroyed (and a Certificate of Destruction supplied by Scan Film or Store Ltd) or retained in deep storage at our premises.
As technology has advanced and the relationship between the two companies has developed more departments within this Aerospace organisation utilises Scan Film or Store Ltd for microfilm, microfiche and lately digital scanning and archive box storage services.
